Sitting at over 4100m, Laguna Miscanti is one of the highest lakes in the world. The air is thin, and brutally cold and windy. Yet Ines proved incredibly brave, put on the skirt, took off her shoes and danced in the wind for me.
Probably the most amazing place we visited. 7 lagoons in salt flats, 2 hours from San Pedro on a bad, long dirt road. But this is where you get, and it's all worth it. Lagunas Escondidas de Baltinache.
